Winner of the Emerald Literati Network’s 2011 Awards for Excellence

My article entitled “Expanding Topological Vulnerability Analysis to Intrusion Detection through the Incident Response Intelligence System”, published at the Information Management & Computer Security, 18 (4) with Dr. Sarandis Mitropoulos and Professor C. Douligeris, has been chosen as the Outstanding Paper Award Winner of the Emerald Literati Network’s Awards for Excellence 2011.

The award winning papers have been chosen following consultation amongst the journal’s editorial team, many of whom are eminent academics or managers. The editorial team nominates what they believe has been that title’s Outstanding Paper and up to three Highly Commended Papers from the previous 12 months. Quoting from the award notification letter, this paper has been selected “as it was one of the most impressive pieces of work the Literati Network’s team has seen“.

It’s an honor, a big surprise and a real pleasure to watch my Ph.D. work gaining international recognition, while positioning IRIS as a valuable tool to the security research community.

Thanks a lot !
